Mark Zilbert and Zilbert have developed this website with the intent to make its content available to the widest possible audience that may be interested in real estate. That audience is quite diverse and includes those who require or desire more accessible web design and communication methods. We have looked to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 in our design and development. You should be able to use this website across multiple devices (desktop, smartphones, tablets) and browser types.

Accessibility Toolbar

The site includes an Accessibility Toolbar that controls font size, contrast and other tools to make Zilbert.com more accessible. The toolbar is docked to the lower left side of the screen and remains aligned with the screen. The toolbar appears on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

Images

All images contain alternative (ALT) text. This ALT attribute is displayed when the site is visited with images “off” and voiced by screen readers. If the ALT attribute is empty or null, then the image is ‘non-functional or brand-type’ and should be ignored by screen readers. The home page background image is purely decorative and non-essential for site navigation or other real estate information, and does not carry an ALT attribute.
