WINNER:  Best Total Light Control Project 2009 Visual Acoustics was tasked with controlling all of the electronic-low-voltage, magnetic-low-voltage, incandescent, LED and fluorescent lighting used in this 7000 square foot home. To accomplish this task, three dimming panels, five shading power panels, an auxiliary power panel and two interfaces were used in the system. The high-end design of the home allowed for many unique light control applications. When the door to the third floor pool deck is opened, a �Welcome� scene is set to activate between sunrise and sunset, ensuring that no resident finds himself or herself walking into a dark space. In the great room, roman shades provide control of the natural light supplied from 26, 12-foot high windows that form two of the four great-room walls. The client also requested the ability to adjust the lights in the home prior to his arrival.
